Hi Romeyn and Sallie,
I made a change to the first page of the veteran's burials. Could I get
you to look at it and see if that helps and let me know? If that solves
the problem I will fix the other pages. I have a 17" monitor also.
I just saw Ed's message come in and he is right about text size. If you do
not have a wheel mouse, you can go to the browser's "View" menu and select
Text Size and select the next smaller size text until it works for you.
I have seen a C has been mistaken for a G and visa versa many times. I
would go for it, esp. with the location being the same. Glad you decided
to de-lurk.

Debby,
Thanks so much for posting this to the website! I have a question, but
first a comment. I believe Sally's problem may be due to screen size
and/or resolution. It looks marvelous on my monitor, but it's a 17"
monitor with 1024x768 resolution. When I "unmaximize" the screen, the
names do travel to the left over the flags. I'm not too html literate,
but is there a way to have a fixed distance from the left margin for the
left column of last names? Hope that makes sense. It would leave room
for the flags, but the names wouldn't move to the left as the screen size
changes.
Now for my question... I've started researching my husband's side of the
family... which has been difficult, to say the least. I am 99% sure that
David C. Jenkins from New Waverly is his GG-grandfather. There is a David
G. Jenkins listed in the Cemetery Record of Deceased Veterans that has
just been transcribed. He's listed on the website as buried in the New
Waverly (IOOF) Cemetery in grave 1, lot 23, and block A. Is there a
possibility that it could actually be David C. Jenkins instead of David G.
Jenkins? I know in cursive C and G can get confused. If it is, then I
can pursue getting a death certificate. I knew that he lived in New
Waverly and have the date when his wife died, but did not know where he
was buried.
Thanks again for posting this!
A too-long lurker,
