Charlotte:
Thanks so much for putting this index together for select years and for
putting it on-line. I know how much time, work and reading you must have put
into this because I tried doing a similar project in my city, and very few
people seemed to appreciate or understand the work behind this. I found ten
hits in your indexes alone, on various family members. Are you going to
arrange with any library or person to provide copies of these for a fee at
all?
I know I found an obituary from the 1880's taken from the Logansport Weekly
Pharos reprinted in a PA newspaper where the deceased originated from and
was born. This was not in your indexes because you haven't apparently
gotten to that year yet. But the obit was a relatively long one with very
helpful references to other relatives. So I think this would be a worthwhile
project to be continued to other years. They seemed to expand to real obits
in the 1880's from more what I would call death notices in the 1870's.

Subject: 1873, 1893, 1894 Newspapers Index
Just wanted everyone to know that their has been newspaper index on
my
web site. The Logansport Weekly Pharos part of 1873, 1893 and 1894 is in
progress.
If you had ancestors even going through Logansport at these times of
years. Please go check these newspapers out. I have found references to
citizens who had long gone left Logansport, but came back for a visit,
because, there is still family living around.

My web page is called Millers in Cass County and Meigs Co., OH
You will find a link to the newspaper on the homepage.
Don't forget to try various spelling and misspellings of our your
ancestors name. Nicknames were also use to in the newspaper.
