I got death records from Cass County Health Department Books, death of
ggrandfather who died 1901, and his father who died 1855 (info from
Logansport Cass County Library, 616 E. Broadway, Logansport, Indiana 46947,
they found him as a member of the Mason's who had lists of the members who
died, there was only one cemetery at that time, Pioneer 9th Street Cemetery.
Good Luck! Janice M. Davis

Am trying to find obits or death notice for persons who died in
1860's-1870's in Logansport. Any ideas? Are there published collections,
indices? Have reviewed the online resource without success. Also, for
persons living in Eel Township in 1860 census, which would be likely
cemetery? Thanks!
