Haven't really looked much at McMillen, but do know that there were lots of
them in Cass County - they were some of the earliest settlers. I visited
Cass County last spring and it is a very common name in the area. Good
luck.

Marjorie,
Oh, would I pray that I knew!
My McMillen is Isaac, purported to be born in PA, c
1832, married Rebecca Shuey in Clinton Cass, IN c
1857. I know there were McMillen there and some were
from PA by way of Ohio, but I have not made any
connection yet. Beofre 1850, census records are not
helping me and I have yet to find my precious Isaac in
1850, anywhere.
Please let me know if you have run across this name in
your searches. They had a son Harry who died young and
John, Charles and another Isaac, a daughter Martha.
Sure, I don't know any more ancestor info than this.
Thanks for your interest.
