ENGLEKING
Herman C Engleking, 11 years of age, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Engleking, died at the
residence of his aunt, Mrs Blanche Raab, near indianapolis, Thursday. Interment was made
Saturday
SHEPHERD
James H Shepherd, 60 years of age, father of S H Shepherd, Panhandle fireman of this
city, died at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kokomo, Sunday monring.
The funeral will be held this morning at 10:30 from the sister's residence in
Galveston.
LAVERING
James Lavering of Culver, Ind. died at Longcliff Saturday, age 32, death being due to
cerebral hemorrhage. The remains will be taken to Culver for interment.
WOODRUFF
The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Woodruff, West Melbourne avenue, was found
dead in bed Sunday morning. The child was sleeping with its parents. Coroner Nelson was
called and after making an investigation pronounced death due to smothering. At 3
0'clock the child was all right, but after that time in sme manner, the child became
wrapped up in bed clothing.
The funeral will be held this morning at 9:30 from the residence. Interment will be
made in the Miller cemetery.
