For what it is worth-There is also a Miller Cemetery in Deer Creek Twp. Cass
Co just 1/2 mile north of Deacon on 300 E about 1 1/2 mile south of Blue
Ball Church which is on #218. John E. Miller laid this cemetery out on his
farm in 1853. It is an interesting Cemetery to visit, down a long dirt lane.
There has been burials there during the last 10 years. Don't know when the
last one was tho. Sallie, San Benito TX via Logansport/Deacon IN

Debby -- There is a Miller cemetery in Miami Twp. Cass County - off
of
600E. I do know that was an orginal farm that was owned by people named
Miller and some of them still own that farm (I think). Maybe this would
help on some of your research. There have been burials there in the last
10 years, but it is rather old. I do not know all the names, but Kenneth
Miller family, is the one that I did know. Marj Sailors

Nancie,
I did some checking in Powell's 1913 History of Cass County and the 1878
Cass County Atlas. My best guess is that it may be the cemetery known as
Keeps Creek or Pleasant Hill. I found no reference to Stone School House
Cemetery, but in looking at the 1878 map, the only cemetery near a school
building is that one. There is a transcription that exists from around
1940 done by the L'Anguille Valley Cemetery Association. I have it on
microfilm, but that means I have to go to the library in order to view
it. I don't think I will have time to do that for several days. Does
anyone else have access to the film? They have a copy at the Logansport
Public Library.
