Dear Deb-
There is a smaller cemetery behind Blue Ball Church which is on #218 West of
Walton. Coming from Walton, turn right on the road at Blue Ball, go about a
mile to the first road going right. Turn on it. The Cemetery is about 1/2
mile on the right.
Some of Don's Diver Family are buried there up the hill to the right. I
can't think of the name as I sent the Nelson and the Richason books I had
compiled to my sister in law, Evelyn Heckard, in Logansport. Don't know if
you have done this cemetery or know about it. Sallie

Subject: [INCASS] What a beautiful day!
Indian Summer arrived! It seems it will be short, but
I did enjoy a beautiful day today. I had been hoping
to get another chance to get out and photograph
tombstones and this was the perfect day for it. On my
way, near Keeps Creek, I saw a blue heron standing at
the edge of the road. It took flight as I came near.
I sure wish I had gotten a photo to share here. All
four of the cemeteries photographed today (1100
photos) are in Clinton Township, Cass County.
First, I photographed Porter-Justice Cemetery. It is
small and in deplorable condition, very sad. Next, I
visited Pleasant Hill Cemetery. This is a small -
medium cemetery and is still in use. Third, was the
largest of the four, Clymers. It is also still
active. Fourth, was Shideler, which is also active. On
my way home as it was getting dusky, I stopped at
West-Smith Cemetery in Washington Township, Cass
County. It is on my list to photograph in the future
and I wanted to located it.Walton Cemetery did go live
online on October 27.

Shideler went online November 7, however, there will
be lots of updates when the photos are added.

Pleasant Hill will also be seeing lots of updates.

Watch for Pipe Creek Christian / McNeely Memorial
Church Cemetery to be updated soon.
Many thanks to Sadie Cunningham and Pat Piscel for
their many contributions to this data and their many
hours of tireless work.
While I was out enjoying nature and the weather today,
there were many smells of fall. Farmers were
finishing bringing in crops, some were plowing and
fertilizing fields, leaves were burning and last a
skunk perfumed the air near home. Enjoy these days!
