Subject: [INCASS] Recruit Identification Card
Hello, I have a WW2 Recruit Identification Card #2897447 for-----
JAMES MAXIE BRYANT Rate AS in U. S. N.
Dated Nov 13, 1947
His hair was Brown, eyes Grey, Height 68 1/2 Inches and his weight 131.
Under Prominent Marks are:
RM rt. clavicular; RM lt. deltoid; VSLA; S 1/2" rt. elbow;
S 1/2" lt. patella.
It is signed J. L. Williams Lieut. [jg] USN
Most interesting on the back is:
His fingerprint!
his signature and in the same ink and handwriting:
Louis Parr
321 N. West St.
Tipton, Ind.
I would LOVE to send this to this man's family. I looked in Ancestry but
not sure if I found him as I don't know his family. I did find a Louis
Parr but he was too young to be the one I wanted.
Please someone claim this small piece of history in James life.
Sallie from Texas PS We got this in stuff at an auction sale years ago,
in Indiana.
