FYI. My Great-Grandfather died from "consumption" (i.e., TB) in Pulaski
County (adjacent to Cass) in 1893.
He spent many years in Cass: my great-grandmother was from Logansport and
my grandfather was born there in 1891.

Hello -- I have always heard in my family that there was some serious
TB
outbreaks -- I think some were later than the 1800s. MSailors

Hi all,
Does anyone know of any epidemics, large or small, that might have
affected
Cass County in either 1880 or 1883?
Thanks,
