Deb, When I went to Cass Co in the early 80's I was not welcomed. I
continued to go as I wanted to, not because THEY wanted me to. A lady by
the name of Kay, finally came & befriended me. Before this I would go
in, sit down, listen then leave and that was all. But, I stuck it out.
There was a younger single fellow who was a little friendly and then
Harley Songer. Kay trusted me. We did some kind of old newspaper
compiling. I loved doing it but if not for Kay I wouldn't have known
anything about it. I met Barbara Wolf at the Library one time-she helped
me as I was trying to find the rightfull home of an excellent OLD Bible
my great uncle gave my aunt. It belonged to his wife. Barbara was very
knowledgeable. I don't know if she is still living. I know Harley died.
Thanks for your kind words, Deb. Sallie
