Dear Holly,
I really enjoyed this new issue. I took years ago and through this
mag.found my McConnaughhay/Badders Family. Then we went full time-living
in our RV-and I gave all of my copies to the Cass County Gen Society. A
couple of years ago I joined your web site and got the mag. For some
reason, they would never hook me up to the site so I called and told them
to cancel me and send my money back. With this I lost the Mag again. Now
I am going to subscribe on my own, once more.
On page 133 in Directories of Societies, Libraries, and
Archives-Indiana-you have the Cass County Genealogical Society, PO Box
373, Logansport, IN 46923. The Cass County Society has been disbanded at
least a year. They may have someone there to look up enquiries but the
Society itself is no more. This is too bad. I guess the young ones aren't
interested in Gen.
The Harlingen Tex Tip O Tex Gen Society is made up of a fine group of
Genealogists-ready and willing to help in anyway. I am proud to be a
member of this group.
