None of your information rings a bell. And I don't have that information on my
Millers, so I'm still willing to explore. What time period are talking about your
Charles E. Miller. My Wendell had one son name Charles. I don't know for sure who
Wendell's siblings were. But there was a John Miller that had lived with him in
Cass Co., in the 1860 census. And Since he named one of his children Charles maybe
he had a brother name Charles. I would like to know more about your Charles.

Looking for information on Wendell Miller, a long time resident of Logansport.
There are thirty-eight family surnames related to the Millers in the article and
many of these descendants are still living in Logansport, Royal Center, Lucerne
and Dayton, Ohio. I would very much like to find some who could tell me more
information about Wendell. Who were his siblings, and where did his parents live?

Wendell Miller was born 21 Nov. 1840, in Blair Co., Pennsylvania, (at that time it
was Huntigdon Co., PA) having come to Logansport in 1862. He was trained as a
blacksmith, which he
followed for some years in Pittsburgh. After coming to Logansport he followed the
trade for sometime; he held positions at the Old Knowlton & Delta Foundry. He
passed his remaining days at a farm in Washington Township, Logansport. He died 22
April 1908. Wendell married Caroline
GRUSENMEYER, 15 October 1868 at Logansport, the daughter of Joseph V. Grusenmeyer
and Mary Ann PENNY.
The children of Wendell & Caroline Miller:
1. Joseph W. Miller, born 20 Aug. 1870, died 8 April 1892 at the age of 22.
2. John W. Miller, born about 1871.
3. Dr. George David Miller born 7 Aug. 1873, died 20 July 1935. He married
Margaret
M. ROBINSON. They adopted one child Dorothy J. who married
CHADBOURNE and had at least one grandchild Ruth CASWELL.
4. Mary Ann "Gommie" Miller born 30 April 1875; died 25 March 1956; married
Christopher MINNEMAN. They had six children: Viola "Ollie" married Tim
WOOD, Bernadine married Harold COLEMAN. Other related family surnames
McLELAND, MAUCH, CAREW, HATTEN and HANAWALT; Florence
married SMITH, Nellie married FOUTS, Doris married WARNACUTT and
Agnes married FOUTS.
5. Josephine A. Miller born about 1877, died between 1956-61, married Anthony
LEHEMANN.
6. Edward Henry Miller born 16 April 1878, died 26 April 1909 in Logansport,
never married.
7. Charles Miller born June 22, 1880, Baptism July 12, 1880 (Twin)
8. Frederick Miller born June 22, 1880, Baptism July 12, 1880 (Twin)
9. Frank C. Miller born 27 Aug. 1881, married Myrtle BENNER and Hattie BUSH,
children are: Foust, Betty, Nedra, Norma, William, Donald Joseph, Frank,
Florence
married DAGGETT, Alvina married FICKLE, Mildred married HARPER,
Elizabeth married RIVERS and Alice married DOUGLASS.
10. Nora N. Miller born 26 July 1884 (twin) never married died 1961. She was a
member of the St. Joseph Church in Logansport.
11. Cora B. Miller born 26 July 1884 (twin), died 7 Aug 1964, married Charles E
MARCH, seven children to this union: Lawrence William married Mary Madeline
GRAUEL, Florence Marie married Sherald HINES, Clarence Albert married
Mildred BECHDOL, Donald E married Lillian M BROUGHTON, Victor E.
married Estella SWAYZEE, Floyd Wendell and Frances married Carl BOLLEI.
12. William Anthony Miller born 7 Feb. 1887 married Cecillia J REES, had three
children: Vincent W. married Margaret Louise JOHNSON, other related family
surnames, KETZENBERGER, HURNI, DIMMICH, WOODCOX, TRISSELL;
other son was Ellis Wendell Miller and daughter was Helen D. "Toni"
Miller
married Ed COURTNEY.
