The 1850 Cass Co, IN Census will show the onw born in 1841, 9 yrs old plus any others b
between the 1841 date and 1850. The 1860 census will show others b. after 1850, then the
1870 census will show Lydia wid. with any ch. still living at home, the 1880 census will
show Lydia also either living with a ch. or alone, or with ch. still living with her.

Daniel,
Most death and birth records were not created until at
least 1882 in the state of Indiana in general.
However, some cities started a bit earlier.
Logansport started keeping death records in July 1874.
I don't know how complete they are.
