Grew up near there. Welding Shop, tavern @one time, owned by Raymond 'Sonny'
Clawson & later his son, Bob. Along the wall in the welding shop was a hand painted
sign Lennox sp?. Shop was there from 46 til sold out by grandkids ~5 years ago. Sonny
told me that if you lived in the one town, toughs from the other might beat you up if they
had the chance. Dad (now 87) says that building was owned by Hargraves, who owned several
threshing machines, and at one time had a hammer mill inside where you could have your
feed ground for livestock. At one time I think he said there were 2, maybe 3 stores &
one bank in Yeoman. Farm Bureau Co-op had a lumber company and mill to make windows,
doors, etc. there into [?late 50's?].
