Does rootsweb have mailing lists for the Amish or Dunkards? I know their
Quaker list really helped me in the search for many of my ancestors. I grew
up in northern CA in the 30's & 40's and went to school with 5 or 6 Dunkard
children in the Modesto area.

Thank you Gretchen for your reply I know her mother was born in PA and
then lived
in KY We have never been able to find the mothers name Her
father was born in Ireland That is probably right that my gggrandmother was
a Dunkard and that her mother's family was too and she followed their
customs
