Dear Glenn,
Yes, I am descended from your Richard Dunkin's brother Joshua. I have a family
group for John Dunkin and Elizabeth Sunderland which includes 11 kids and 8 of
their spouses. If you have more on those, I am interested. Also, you don't
happen to have anything on John Dunkin's origins, do you? I was promised a
biography of Elizabeth's supposed father, Peter Spencer Sunderland, but never got
it. He was a Rev Soldier at Bunker Hill, and I have an unsubstantiated line for
him back to the 1100s for the Spencers and farther back than that for some of the
female lines. If you want that info, I will send it, with the caveat that I got
it from Ancestral File and other online sources.
I am more intrigued by your own name. I am related to a Glenn E. Hopper b Howard
County IN who m a Carrie G. Wilson. Glenn got me started in genealogy before he
died in 1971. They are buried Friend's Cemetery at New London. A very dear man,
he was my second great-uncle. You don't happen to be related to Carrie, do you?
