Both Rebecca and Charles Clapper appear on the 1890 Tax List for Van Buren Township. It
is possible I can discover where they lived and what property they owned, and when it was
sold.
I do not find any Clappers listed in the Brown County death records. Depending on what
part of Van Buren two they lived in, it is possible that you may find a death record in
Jackson County or Monroe County, Indiana.
I will look into the property records, sometimes property transfer can be tied to poor
health or death, and listed or mentioned in the deed.

I am seeking the death date and death/burial location for Rebecca Clapper. She was living
in Van Buren, Brown County, IN with her son Charles C. Clapper according to the 1880
census for that county. Rebecca was listed as head of house.Rebecca first married John
Emenhiser in Muskingum Coounty OH and after his death, some time before 1850, she married
John Clapper in OH.
Any help would be appreciated.
