Greg,
Thank you so much for providing this information. I am very interested in
seeing anything you have on this family line, and would love to know if (or
when) you put it back on a website. It is a great help to have the names of
the parents as I was at a dead end with James Chandler. Do you have his
wife listed as Elizabeth Dover or Dewar? I have a record of their marriage,
but have found the name with various spellings; and I do not have anything
further on her parents or siblings to make a determination as to "correct"
spelling. Should you have any interest in their daughter Elizabeth and her
husband, I would be most happy to provide it as I have researched the
Alexanders fairly extensively.
Thanks again. I do appreciate your sharing the information.

This James Chandler is the younger brother of Benjamin Chandler and also the
son of Anne (Brummett) and Shadrack Chandler. I believe that there is
another older daughter and another older brother (also named Shadrack
Chandler) that remained in Whitley County, KY as well (Whitley used be a
part of Knox county).
I have quite a bit of information about this family line and used to keep it
on a website. I should put it back online someday.
Greg
