Where is Benton Township? They may be there!
In the mean time, I have found this info.
Kathie
Info from 1850 Brown County census.
3rd of Sep 1850, Washington TWP dwelling 161-family 162.
Date of marriage and place estimated from date of oldest child living in
household on 1850 census.
Harriet was 25 years old.
Have John B. Williams' marriage certificate and/or application to Susannah
Robertson in Brown County IN. It is only supposed as of Dec 21 1994 that
Susannah is the dau of Robert and Susanah Robertson because her place of
birth is listed as TN like Robert's. To date, haven't seen her on anything else
to prove or disprove.
Notes for Harriet Robertson: See notes for father, Robert. Note added

QUERY: Do you have any information about Harriet Robertson who is shown in
the 1850 Brown County US Census with Robert Robertson family at age 25.
She married Harrison J. Weatherman on Nov. 5, 1850, but he remarried in Clay
County, Indiana on May 7, 1854. Harriet and Harrison had one daughter named
Susannah. I am searching for her death records and burial place. The
daughter Susannah also disappears after the 1860 Clay County US Census. Susannah
was 8 yrs. old in the 1860 census."

Hi Diana,
I have been trying to log into rootsweb to reply to these posts and no
matter what I do, it seems I can't log in to post.
I am a descendant of Robert Robertson and Susannah Hood and I do have 2
different sources saying they are buried possibly in different places.
One
source says Duncan Cemetery and there is a person who told me
he's been
there
and seen the stones. The other source is on
FamilySearch.org and
it's
giving a different town and county (I think as far as county) than the
1st
source.
At one time I did have info with Susannah's birth but I am unable to
locate
it at this time. I'm really not sure if they were married in
IN or
not.
I am thinking not and that they married in TN or another southern
state.
Warm regards, Kathie Davus
