If any of this sound familar, then please let me know.....
So I looks for the Roland guy. Like you said he is in Monroe County, IN in 1860 as a 65
year old born in TN [however TN was not a state in 1795 when he was born] and he is there
with "Sally" aged 64 born in SC as well as James, 12 and Martha, 9 who must be
someone else's kids or Rollin is having a late family!
Anyway did you also find him in the same county in 1870 where he is now Rollin, 79 and
born in Virginia East? I figure this is an attempt to describe what TN would have been
thought of in 1791 [if 79 is the correct age]. And he is there with Sarah who is 76 and
born in SC. What I love is that living with them are Blackbird Adkins age 43 born in KY
and Michael age 45 born in KY also. Great to know we might have a Blackbird in the
family!!

And Roland and Sally are in the 1850 census for Jackson, Brown Co., IN....he is 62 and
born in VA, Sally is 56 and born in SC, Blackburn is 22 and born in KY, Nancy is 18 and
born in KY, John R is 16 and born in IN and Polly is 13 and born in IN. William Adkins,
32, KY is living next door. So some time between 1832 and 1834 Roland and Sally left KY
for IN.....
In 1840 he is probably Roland Adkinson in Jackson, Brown Co. IN....??? Males under
