I have in my possession several papers, such as tax receipts and other legal records,
which once belonged to Thomas Campbell (1881-1924). They are dated from the late 1800s to
early 1900s. Two letters from a young soldier who was stationed at Gettysburg, PA, in
1817, are also included. I would like to turn this material over to a descendant or
someone who is researching this family. Thomas and his wife, Elizabeth (Brummet) Campbell,
lived in the Jackson Creek area of Brown County. They were the parents of 10 children.
These papers were in a box which was purchased at a garage sale at a Brown County house.
If anyone is interested, they can call me at (812)-988-8568.
