Would you two please take your issue private until it is resolved? Obviously, you can
interact in Brown County without displaying "dirty linen" to those of us who
don't care and/or have no input into what happens.

It is true that in the past decisions for the Brown County Genealogical
Society are made by the members; I would like to point out no members as a
society made the decision to remove the Family Studies from the web site.
That decision was made by you Sarah Clevenger with no discussion with any
members of the society. You can be sure this will be on the agenda of the
next meeting of the Brown County Genealogical Society which will be August
14th at the Brown County Public Library downstairs room B. The meeting will
start at 7 p.m. Then maybe you can explain why you took it upon your self to
remove the Family Studies from the web site. If you are not willing to have
the Family Studies on the BCGS web site then I think it is a wonderful offer
from the Brown County Historical Society to post the studies plus a complete
index on their site.
The only thing I can see that is premature is your removing the family
studies without informing the membership of your actions.

Since decisions concerning the Brown County Genealogical Society are
made by the members, not the officers or the board, in my opinion the
matter concerning the listing of the Family Studies on line should be an
agenda item at a meeting to permit an open discussion of the problem by
the members. Such a discussion has not occurred. Furthermore, it seems
to me that the involvement of the Brown County Historical Society is
premature at this time.
