Karen, OH MY GOSH......YOU ARE AN ANGEL......this is who I have been looking for....in ref. their daughter, Mary Ella...do you know if you can find anymore info on her?
She was married to my grandfather, James F. Fishel, and they had a daughter name Amy, born...March 15, 1920 in Monroe County, IN. I have found Amy several times, but she is listed as a child of Frank and Farby Knight, which is not true. Also, I do know Amy married a Madison Finchum, but was divorced, and at that point, I can't find her anymore. Please help me if you can. Amy is my father's oldest sister..and he never met her. I would love to know if Amy remarried and had children and if she may still be alive. Thanks so much for any help and the help you have already given me!! Sue

Well that's just no fun at all! :)
I might be better off trying to hunt down their death cert., if I could just narrow down where exactly they died. (Some sources claim Washington, while others claim Orange Co.)
Oh the fun in genealogy! Well thanks for the tip! :)

>From my dealings with other Indiana counties, the only thing that will be listed is the name of the bride and groom, the name of the clerk issuing the license and the person who performed the ceremony. The only exception would be if one of the participants were under age and required parental permission. Sorry. Don

Contact: Brown County Clerk, County Courthouse, Van Buren & Main St., Nashville, In, 47448, phone 812-998-5510. What you will probably get is a copy of the page on which the marriage was recorded and will probably not contain much more than what you have already found. Good luck. Don

David DENTON and Eliza Emeline "Sarah" BOLT were married in Brown County, 21 Apr 1841. I can find a little abstract at Ancestry.com... but I'd really like a copy of the original.
Any ideas?

I too am looking for information on Ambrose M. Cunning. I am currently the Judge of the Morgan Circuit Court in Indiana where he was a judge from 1882 to 1888. I am completing a history of the entire court for the courtroom and the public to read and he is the most difficult person to find information on. At least I have a middle name now. If you have other information, please contact me at mghanson(a)insightbb.com.
Thanks
