Can you tell me Louis C. Brummet's wife name? Also other children's names? I am helping a friend research his family. He descends from Richard's son Lewis C. or Lewis S. Brummet born in Jefferson Co. IL in 1883.
I saw your comment about Richard being raised by his uncle Ren...
would Ren be short for Rensselear? Is he also the Renc Brummet in the 1840 Brown County census and the Rees Brummet in Knox County, KY 1830?
Marguerite

Hi Julia,
They are both on the LDS site 1880 Census Place Clay and Boone Douglas, Missouri
under William Hall of Clay and Uriah Matney of Boone. Clay and Boone are next to each other. Sorry I don't have a list of Matney family. Sarah Matney would be the only Matney in my genealogy. I understand your Matney family came from KY>IN>MO. It looks like they settled in Douglas, Webster and Wright Counties as my folks did.
Thanks,
Charles

That is what I have too. I didn't know Sarah' maiden name until I saw her and her children twice on the 1880 Douglas Co., MO census. Sarah and kids must have been (visiting?) with her parents during the time the census was taken. Thank you for your help in confirming Sarah' maiden name,
Charles

Would like to clear up a small item. Would like to know if John Raymond Tirtle born May 24 1896 Bethany, Indiana son of William S. Tirtle and Theodosia Campbsadell Patterson. Is their name Tuttle or Tirtle? The names on my records are crossed out so many times I would like to correct it once and for all. John Raymond and Edith Eulalia Tuttle are the children of Wm and Dosia. My Great Grand Aunt. Thank you if anyone can help. LaVon Patterson Campbell

I have a Uriah Matney, b. 31 Jan 1834 ,Brown County, Indiana. I'm looking for his daughter Sarah A. that married William R. Hall; both families were living in Douglas Co., Missouri during the 1880's. William R. Hall was also born in Brown Co., Indiana. What I'm trying to find out is when William R. Hall died so I can get his death certificate so I can hopefully find out his mother's maiden name.
Thank you,
Charles

Hi Sharon
What is this. Is Brown county asking for information on burials. That is the county where my Cousin lived and died in 2000. She was adopted also. The cousin I was looking for so long and found in Clearwater, Fla was adopted also.
How are things going? Is it starting to get cold up there? could yo winterize the property ad move down in the states for the winter/?
