Becky, Thank you for the information. I went on the home page and found my Moore's: Michael and Lucretia Matheny Moore. I have always suspected Michael Sr. and Hanna Ward were his parents, but found no proof.
I did notice that Lucretia was said to be buried in OH, when infact she is buried in Van Buren Twp. Brown Co. IN.
Thanks again for your answer. Charlotte

Hello to all:
I am looking for information about the family of Jabel Smith and Rebecca Wagoner or Waggoner.
Jabel and Rebecca appear in the 1850 census for Brown County, Indiana, with a son named William C Smith, born about November 1849. According to this census, Jabel was born about 1826 in Kentucky (KY), and Rebecca was born about 1823 in Tennessee (TN). I have not been able to find this family in the 1860 Census, yet. Jabel later made the move to Bartholomew County, IN. I think that Jabel was married at least three times.
I was hoping that someone could supply me with a list of Jabel's children. I am looking for the parents of my great great grandmother, Elizabeth Smith, who was born about 1854 in Indiana. Elizabeth married Nathaniel Robbins in Bartholomew County, IND, on October 14, 1869.
Best Wishes,
Jay T Stokes
