Malinda was in Brown County in 1880:
1880 Brown Co., IN Census Johnson Twp., ED 18, Sheet 12, page 328b
Weatherman Melenda age 59 D
Lawson David age 9 grandson
Polly Lossen, age 37, was listed on the 1880 Monroe County census with son, David, age 9, and daughter, Marth. S., age, 6. I believe this was Melinda's daughter, Mary A. "Polly" Hall, who married Drury Lawson and David was listed twice.
I haven't found Polly in 1870 either.

Norma,
Do you recall where in Monroe Co., she was listed in the census of 1880?
The story is that when Elizabeth Hall and Henry Clark left Monroe Co. That Malinda stood in the fork of the road waving to them. Henry Clark had property in Salt Creek Twp.
Again thanks,
Rob

Looking for descendents of Thomas Coulson married Fannie Tarrant in Greene County, TN and then settled in Brown County. I see that there is a Thos. Coulson age 39, in Washington Twp. Brown County on 1850 census with a Fannie Coulson age 66,as mother. I believe that this is the same person I am seeking. But husband/father is not listed, so am I to assume he died before 1850?
Would like to contact descendants of this family, as I have numerous photos taken circa 1890 that I have no idea as to their identity.

Thank you for the census lookup. Jesse wasn't born until Mar 1887/88 in Bartholomew Co., IN. I have 2 different years for his birth. I don't know anything about his parents yet. Jesse died in Jan 1948 in Bartholomew Co. and his obit stated he was survived by several 1/2 brothers and sisters. I will hang onto to this info. Hopefully it will turn out to be his family.

Does anyone remember the Clarence and Geneva Roberts case in Nashville, Indiana where there we're two house fires involved. First one November 18, 1970 and the second one November 18, 1980. Does anyone recall the man that Clarence picked up that night in the bar in Morgan Town. I believe he could be my missing grandfather. I have photo from 1966. Please call Jo layne at 972-602-1866. Any info, however how small, will be much appreciated. Thank you
