I found a great Brown County Genealogy Site:
http://65.10.15.149/FreeGen/Home.html
They will be adding over 1 billion names to their online database
over the next few months.
Kathie asks, Is this for real????
The only thing real about this site is that it is a REAL hoax. They are
there only for money. I tried their site & it is useless. The same
experience has been reported on other newsletters.

I may be able to check a few things for you because I am doing some research on my Ping family member. My ggg-grandmother was Nancy Ping and I believe she was a sister to your Catherine. Nancy married Daniel Crouch. I didn't know Nancy had any other older sister, so this helped me out. I'll do some checking and see if I can find Catherine Ping-Weddle.

Do you happen to know anything about the Honeycutt. My great grandparents were John Aynes and Sarah Jane Honeycutt. They were born 31 July 1835 in Putnan County, Indiana and 29 October 1836 in Tennessee respectively. They married 1 March 1855 in Nashville, Brown County, Indiana. They migrated to Brown County, Texas after the Civil War. I think that Sarahs parents were Jacob Honeycutt and Naomi "Omah" Prichard, but i cant prove it.
Thanks

Tammy, would you check the old cemetery book for any Blackburns, please? I'm looking for Benjamin & Mary (Hartley) Blackburn. My last trace of them is Brown Co. in 1860. Also, their daughter, Nancy Elizabeth Blackburn (Bruner, Poling) died in Brown Co. after 1900. Thank you for your help.

Mindy, sounds like Mr. White's reply may be able to fill you in on most of it. My line is Joseph Roberts, my greatgrandfather and his daughter was my grandmother, Golda. I have some information on the Nicolas Roberts family but am not personally acquainted with them. Nicolas Roberts was a brother to Joseph Roberts and Joseph's sons were Clarence and Warren. If you need any more information let me know.

Henryetta,
I was looking at the information you posted and wondering about where William Henry Mathis was in your line? I also noticed that you have a Thomas Mathis born 1866. I need to go back to the 1880 census; however there is a Thomas Mathis, age 14 and David Mathis age 16 listed in that census with my great grandmother and great grandfather (Sara Catherine Tull Mathis and William Henry Mathis). Unfortunately, none of my Aunts seem to know anything about these boys. Wondered if that Thomas is your Thomas. Do you have a birth or death date for your William Henry Mathis? Also, interested to see that your John Henry Mathis was in Pawnee Missouri as some of Mathis Great Uncles moved there as well.
