Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Hi, I am looking for a Margaret Sue Mosier, I believe her mother came from
Bourbon Co. Ky. and father from Md. His name was Mosier. He lived in Mosier,
Or. and Mosier Or. was named after him. Margaret Sue Mosier m. John Leland
Henderson who was my gt grandfather and he live in Tillamook, Or. This
is his third wife and he died on Sugar Loaf Mt. He m. first Hattie Humphrey

Hi, I have Kennedys in Tn.---I believe these are the same ones. I wanted
to ask if you know any one that has a Richard Stevens eldest son of Benj.
Stevens bros and sis Benj, John, Thomas, Elizabeth and Anne Stevens. I
believe these people were in Vineland, NJ. and Monmouth Co. NJ. Upper Freehold.
I found Judge Richard Henderson with Anne Stevens of Monmouth listed on
a film ---with no other Henderson on it. Do you know if they are related?

in NJ.? There was a John Henderson in Botetourt Co. Va. 4 Mar. 1775 deeds
of John Henderson 271 acres on NOrth fork of Roanoake called Goose Creek,
Va. There seems to be John Bowyer or Sawyer, Andrew Lewis, John Maxwell,
James Trimble, David Robinson, Wm Fleming, Geo Skillem, Benjamin Estill,
Phillip Lowv and Andrew Woods, John Bowman and Samuel Lewis, Richard May,
John McMurray. Do you know any of these people? I am pretty sure your Kennedys
are in Et. Tn. in Greenville, Tn. Greene Co. Tn. There seems to be many
Hendersons listed in Et. Tn. and in Wt Tn. Loralee

I am looking for some information on a church that my 4th great-grandfather
Adam Stilebauer/Stillabower was elder of in Hamilton Township, Brown County,
IN. The paper I have has the date of February 15,1854. It was a church
of The Protestant Evangelical German Congregation of Lutheran & German
Reformed Church members of Mt.Moriah. If anyone has any information on
this or on Adam or knows where I might find any information about the church

I'm searching for anything on the family of Benjamin and Mary (Hartley)
Blackburn who lived near Bean Blossom in Brown Co. in 1860 & 1870. Their
children were: William, John Nelson, Hannah (Jackson), Robert J., Nancy
Elizabeth, & possibly Hugh. They were in Monroe Co. from 1840 to the
1850's.
They seem to have disappeared after the 1870 census was taken. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.

It is my understanding that the surname Palmer originally was given to a
crusader who had reached the Holy Land, the land of palm trees. Many brought
back palm fronds as souvenirs, hence, Palmer.

Does anyone have any information about the parents of Lula Harden? Lula was
born 31 Dec 1890 in Brown County. Her parents names were Harvey Harden and
Catherine Petro. Lula married Leonard Wilson Copenhaver 10 Feb 1911 in Brown
County. She died in 1976.

I have Samuel Arthur as the possible son of Elias Arthur and his second
wife, who was also his cousin, Martha (Patsy) Arthur. Elias was one of
the first settlers in Jackson County, Indiana, neighbor to Brown County.
He arrived there from Knox County, Kentucky in 1820. Elias was the son
of John Arthur Sr. (Revolutionary War soldier) and Priscilla, maiden name
unknown. John Arthur Sr. was the son of Samuel and Mary Arthur of Lincoln
County, North Carolina.
Your Samuel Arthur was born around 1828 in Kentucky. He married first Margaret
Fleetwood, born around 1825 in Kentucky, Margaret was the possible daughter
of James Fleetwood and Elizabeth Cantrell. James was the son of Isaac Fleetwood
(another Revolutionary War soldier) and Sarah Rider. Isaac was the son
of Jacob Fleetwood. Samuel Arthur and Margaret Fleetwood were married in
1847 in Brown County, Indiana. They had five children:
William
Andrew
Nancy Elizabeth
James
John E Newton
Samuel's second wife was Elizabeth Bagwell, whom he married Oct. 30, 1856.
They had two children:
Elijah Westley
Cordelia
Elijah married Melvia Mae Hanson. I have at least two children for this
couple

Ollie (1691-1935)
Samuel Arthur's third wife was Sarah (Sally) or Samantha Fleetwood in 1864
in Jackson County, Indiana. They had seven children, I have the names of
four:

Laura
Calvin
I don't know what Fleetwood family This thrid wife was from. I hope this
