The May 1927 Lebanon Reporter List of Veteran Burials doesn't mention any
Thompson's. It's possible he could have died after 1927.
There was an Isaac Thompson from Clinton County that was in the 154th
Indiana Infantry.

My grandmother wrote in a letter in 1854 that she had an "Uncle Ike"
Thompson who was on a plaque in Boone County as a Civil War "hero." Have
you heard of his family?
