I didn't see the original note but have to advise all readers that at least
two volumes of Boone County cemetery records exist, thanks to the incredible
work of Rosemary Peterman and Marilyn Walker (vol.1) and Libbe Hoogeveen
(the Oak Hill Cemetery). The Browns Wonder section begins on page 82 and
continues through page 101. This cemetery was read in 1984 by Stanley
Holloman Jones and revised and updated in 1988 by Peterman and Walker. This
valuable book is 300+ pages (including index) and I think I purchased it
through the Boone County genealogical society. I'm pretty sure it's also
available at the Lebanon and Thorntown libraries.
Genealogy is difficult enough with these valuable resources. I can't
imagine how challenging it would be without these compilations -- Boone
County has great resources. Sue
And don't forget to check such online resources as
Findagrave.com: if the
people you are seeking are there, great. If not, add their names when you
find them.

Hi Nancy. I live in Lebanon, Boone County, Indiana and I am not sure if
there is any one group who does cemetery look ups. However I do know where
Browns Wonder is and can not find any information on it. I can drive out
there and see if there is a sign posted with information or look for what
you are wanting. I know there use to be a church there and the cemetery in
the back. The church burned down years ago and I am not sure who is in
charge of it or its records but I will try and find out for you if you
like. Michele
