Below is what I have recently found out on the family of Hannah Jane
BISHOP ELSTON. Now that I have somemore information I was woundering
if anyone could tie to some of the other family members. Most of this
happend in and around Boone Co., Indiana. Thanks for your time and
any help you might be able to provide.

FIRST GENERATION
1. Joseph BISHOP was born on 13 Jul 1790. He died on 3 Apr 1847 in
Zionsville, Indiana. Don't know what childern go with which wife at
this point 25 Jun 1999, so all have been put under first wife, until
that can be determined.
Mary DENIDGER was born in Tennessee. Joseph BISHOP and Mary DENIDGER
had the following children:

8 vii.Juliann BISHOP was born on 23 Nov 1835 in Indiana. She was
also known as Julia Ann.
9 viii.Jonathan BISHOP was born on 24 Jul 1837 in Indiana.
10 ix. Joseph BISHOP was born on 18 Nov 1839 in Indiana.
11 x. Mary C. BISHOP was born on 25 Feb 1842 in Indiana.
12 xi. Martha Ellen BISHOP was born on 12 Nov 1844 in Indiana.
He was married to Lydia Ann *UNKNOWN.
SECOND GENERATION
4. Delilah BISHOP.
She was married to George MORGAN. George MORGAN was living on 10 Dec
1853 in Hancock Co., Illinois. Were living was recorded in Deed book
1 page 597. Boone Co., Indiana. "George and Delila Morgan of Hancock,
Co. Illinois, sell thier share to John Stinson for $100 Dec 10, 1853".
5. Cynthia BISHOP.
She was married to James Harrison TANNER on 23 Apr 1840. Married by
J. Right, Minister of God. (book1 page 139)
6. Hannah Jane BISHOP was born on 29 Aug 1830 in Indiana. She died
on 18 Feb 1907. One Source has 18 Feb 1907, other 18 Feb 1908. She
was buried in Hancock Co., Illinois; Webster Cemetery.
She was married to William L. ELSTON (son of Micajah ELSTON and Elsie
TANNER, TURNER) on 11 Apr 1847 in Boone Co., Indiana. Married in
Hannah's Fathers residence by James W. Gill.
William L. ELSTON was born on 13 Nov 1827 in Boone Co., Indiana. He
was living on 9 Apr 1847 in Hamilton, County, Indiana. He died on 4
Apr 1895 in Stillwell, Hancock Co., Illinois. He was buried in
Hancock Co., Illinois; Webster Cemetery. "William L. Elston, son of
Micajah and Elsie (Tanner) Elston, was born on November 13, 1827 in
Ind. He died at Stilwell, Ill., Apr. 4, 1895, and was bur. at
Webster. When of Hamilton Co., Ind., he m. Apr. 11, 1847, at her
father's residence in Boone Co., Hannah Jane Bishop, born Aug. 29,
1830, Ind. He enrolled Aug. 10, 1862 at Marcelline, Ill., in Co. B,
78th Ill. Inf. and contracted a disease of the lungs from exposure
by riding in open flat cars from Quincy to Ky. in Nov. or Dec. 1863.
He was disch. at St. Louis Hospital Feb. 10, 1864. He had also been
captured and paroled at Rolling Fork or Muldrough's Hill, Ky.
between Dec. 20, 1862 and Jan. 10, 1863. He was a farmer who lived
in Adams Co. and Hancock Co., Ill. (41 years in Ill.), being at
Hickory Ridge in 1885. Letters of administration were granted to
Thomas J. Elston and the tax list for 1896 of St. Albans Twp. showed
two parcels of land in William's name and one in the names of
William and Thomas. She died Feb. 18, 1908."

May 1922 in West Point, Hancock Co., Illinois. He was buried in
Hancock Co., Illinois; Webster Cemetery. Name Joseph came from
1850 Boone Co., Indiana census Household #1627 page 349.

+17 v. Martha Ellen ELSTON.
18 vi. Johnny ELSTON.
+19 vii.Elizabeth ELSTON.
20 viii.Catherine ELSTON was born on 10 Mar 1886. She died in Aug
1949.

+22 x. Amanda Jane ELSTON.
+23 xi. Charles ELSTON.
7. Phebe BISHOP was born on 24 May 1832 in Edinburg, Indiana.
Possibably in EdinBurgh, Indiana according to a biography of her son
Rufus CONRAD, in which he sates his mother was born 1832 in Edinburgh,
Indiana. Also states that Phebe's parents were Joseph and Mary
DENIGER BISHOP and that they both came from Tennessee. She was also
known as Pheriba.
She was married to Martin CONRAD (son of Daniel CONRAD and Johanna
LINEBACK) on 22 Jan 1850 in Hamilton Co., Indiana. (Book 1 page 131)
Martin CONRAD was born in 1819 in Forsyth Co., North Carolina. He
moved in 1834 to Clay twp, Hamilton Co., Indiana. He had two childern
by first wife and 8 by second. Phebe BISHOP and Martin CONRAD had the
following children:
