Alas, in my travels, I have actually been to the famous Wall Drug Store,
where the advertisements reach for hundreds of miles in both directions
on the interstate. It is spelled W-A-L-L, not Walls. And, furthermore,
my family line actually started out as WALL before my great grandfather
changed his name to WALLS. Nevertheless, I am very unlikely to be
related to that family, unless by some chance they arise out of North
Carolina, possibly Guilford County, NC. As I am a many many generations
birthright Quaker and the William Wall who was my ggrandfather was
probably a Quaker bastard child born NC and raised in Indiana by Clark
Hosier of Henry County IN, it could be that his family might be related.
I just don't know yet. But it is interesting that you ask.
I do wonder if couples or families from Boone County and Hendricks
County moved out to Wyoming, Missouri or South Dakota around 1879 or so.

Tim,
Is your family related to the Walls that opened the famous Walls
drugstore in South Dakota.
