Hi, If you haven't found Elizabeth Bowman yet, you might want to try Pisgah
Cemetery in Montgomery Co
IN or Providence Cem., Montgomery Co. IN. They are just west of the
Boone-Montgomery Co. line, and several Bowman families lived in that area.

I have typed up several old obituaries and will post them as soon as I am able.
Jane Heine's email box is full and the obituaries I have sent to her to post have
come back undeliverable.

Does anyone know if the St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Whitestown, Boone Co,
IN. has old records, such as death records of 1860?

St. Marks wasformed in 1868. before that it was the Newtown Church. I might
be wrong but think records were not kept until late 1860. What Culley are
you wanting? Is it the ones related to the Buck/Henkel/Beeler families? If so
I might be able to help you.

I am looking for info on any Culley family, but according to some info I got,
obviously wrong, James Alexander Culley who married Caroline Persis Buck was
a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church - but, the same info said he might have
died in Cloverdale, Putnam County, Indiana. I have his death record as March
8, 1860.
Would appreciate any info you have.
Thanks,
Marge
