Mark
I have two ancestors that are burried in Eagle that don't have head stones,
Frank Sluder and Rosa Lee Lowery Sluder his wife. Has anything been done
for them They would be back and to the Left of George Washington Sluder if
you were looking at his stone...

Neilia,
Give the names and I will try to get you a digital photo of the stones.

Unfortunately, I live in California, so that won't be an easy trip. Is
there anyway I can get a listing of all the surnames I am interested in?

stones(and many more) are restored. I think the last count was right at
100
done during Phase 1 and 2, with about 90 to complete in 2004. If
you
have
never seen a restored pioneer cemetery then you are in for a real
treat.
Footstones are in place, stones clean and straight, rows in line, white
marble
is gleaming, and most inscriptions are very readable. Your photos
would
look
very different now. A book of documentation with before and after
photos
is in the posession of Ralph Stacey, township advisory board.
