Donna, saw your email on the inboone web site and email. I haven't done
much with that source as far as research, but my great grand mother came
from the boone area. Her maiden name was McClain----Her name was Lydia Jane
McClain and I believe her mother was Nancy McClain, her father was John.
They all moved from Indiana in about 1877 to Saline county Missouri.
Believe that my Great Grandfather Benjamin Franklin Madison may have also
moved to Missouri with them as an employee of John and later married Lydia.
