The following obit, with a Lebanon, IN, connection appeared in the Tucson, AZ,
newspaper of 20 Feb 2001:
Elizabeth C Cline, 101, passed away February 12, 2001 in Tucson. Elizabeth
was
born in Douglas Co., IL to James and Anna COSLER on June 28, 1899. In 1910
she moved with her family to Lebanon, IN where she graduated in 1917. She did
volunteer work in the Red Cross offices during WWI, and in 1922 she married a
veteran of that war, Lieutenant Arthur C Cline, who died in 1943. She worked
many years for the Greyhound Bus Lines. In 1946 after WWII, she and her foster
son, Virgil D Landis, moved to Colorado and built and operated a ski lodge
near
Leadville, CO, on the Continental Divide. In 1951 they moved to Tucson, AZ.
She was a devoted member of Trinity Presbyterian Church where a memorial
service
will be held in the chapel Thursday, February 22nd, at 11:00 am. Arrangements
made by Arizona Mortuary, University Chapel.
