I have Cook and Davis in my Family line also. The Davis is on My Husband's
side, his Grandmother was Martha Davis, but she was from KY. I was born a
Cook and Married a Cook so we have them on both sides. My GGGGrandfather
was Thomas Cook and m. Catherine McGuire in Indianapolis, Marion Indiana in
Dec. 1840, They had Tiffon Cook, m. Millicent Saint they had Thomas William
Cook, m. Flora Catherine Newman and had William R. Cook, m. Sarah Sue Purdue
in Thorntown Indiana, d/o Lanus William and Pansy Byroad Purdue and they had
me, Mary Anne Cook, I m. James Louis Cook, s/o Millard and Clairsey Clemmons
Cook, D/O Martha Davis and John Clemmons, Millard is the s/o William Jackson
(Jack) and Pearl Neely Cook. I have a lot more info on both sides if you
think we can connect anywhere, I will be happy to share what I have.
