Hi Donna,
All or most of My Byroad family came from Darke and Miami Counties of Ohio.
I believe it was one of the Cynthia Byroads who m. Grover C. Stewart, and I
think they were the ones who had a little farm in Dover, Boone County,
Indiana. Grandpa used to take us there all the time to ride the horses. I
think it was there graves in Oak Hill Cemetery that I found on one of my
visits there. I have been looking through my papers of The Descendants of
John Byroad and cannot find their names, but I know that is where I saw them
listed. There are a lot of Larges listed in the descendants papers. One of
them is working at the Oak Hill Cemetery in the office. Her Gparents were
Cynthia Byroad and Aaron B. Large. I met her when I went into the office to
get a paper of all the Byroads and Purdues burried there. My Grandmother was
Opal (Pansy) Byroad who m. Lanus William Purdue. Her parents were Thomas
Neal and Susan Ullery Byroad and GGrandpa Thomas's Parents were Enos and
Nancy Brumbaugh Byroad. My Mother was Sarah Sue Purdue. I would be happy
to share what information I have with you. I will be moving back to Indiana
this Fri and should be there by Sunday at the latest. My phone and internet
will be turned on on the 5th which is Monday. I am saving all information
on my computer for when I get there so I will already have all emails of
people I am emailing. I am so excited, as I have had abt 5 people email me
this last 2 weeks who are definitely related through the Byroads.
Always

Mary Anne,
What was the name of your Byroad aunt? The Byroad family came from Dark
Co./Miami Co., OH with my folks, the Larges, and there were a lot of
intermarriages.

Hi Donna Gene,
My Grover C. Stewart married one of My Byroad Aunts. I can't find the
paper
that has them on it right now, but I know I have one. If I don't get to
it
before I move to Indiana this Friday, I will get to it when I get settled
in
there.
