Kim,
Here's a request with a Boone Co connection.
I can't discover what happened to my gg grandfather William Asbury Tatum
following his divorce from Rachel Hendrixson. Rachel was working for a
family in White Co in 1880 and had her daughter Emma with her. William
reportedly took one son with him, the other son and daughter were farmed
out to relatives, and William may have taken off for Texas. William's
sons
were Albert b 1867 and Nathaniel b 1860. William would have been 44
years
old in 1880. His mother and father were both born NC and he was born IN.
Thanks for any light you can shed on this.
