Sandra,
I haven't worked on them for a while now. For some time I had the name
misspelled as Dugan. That led nowhere, until a couple of years ago another
Jones researcher had the transcript of the family bible and I discovered the
error. I was looking into the Duzan family to see if there was any
connection to the Jones family. There was only one family and a couple of
single men on the wagon train that were not directly related. I haven't
found any connections. I also explored if there was a connection to the
Culley family as they were also from Tennessee and in the same area at the
same time. But, I haven't established a connection there also. If you have
any surnames in the Duzan tree I would be interested in seeing if there is a
connection to a number of Boone county families that are tied into the Jones
family.

Willard,
Thank you soo much for the wonderful article on Mark A. Duzan. What a
treasure you have on the Jones Bible... By chance are you researching any
on the Duzan family?
Sandra
