I am looking for information on a Tennyson Gregory, son of William Gregory the 3rd.
William's father was John Gregory, born Jul 16 1798 in NC and died June 30, 1884 in Boone Co., IN. His mother was Mary Vaughn.
This Gregory family was in the Boone and Putnam Co., areas in IN. Some of came from Louisa Co., Iowa. And some of them moved to Stoddard and Dunklin Co., in MO.
I would appreciate anything on these Gregory's. Thank you.

Thank you for all your input and suggestions. Gary Burgin lists many of John and Harriet Burgan's descendants at http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=DESC&db=garyb66&id=I0317 although John's first wife is erroneously listed as Martha May (who was his second wife). Hopefully we might hear from one of them regarding Harriet's ancestry. John and Harriet are buried in the Vieley Cemetery east of Lizton, Indiana - see http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Burgan&GSbyrel=in&G... I don't know where John's second wife (Martha May) is buried.
