MRS. ORA STOTLER DIES AT HOSPITAL LIBERTY CENTER WOMAN PASSES AWAY FOLLOWING BIRTH OF
CHILD Mrs. Addie M. Stotlar, 35, of Liberty Center, wife of Ora Stotlar, died at 8 a. m.
today at the Wells County hospital. She had been ill since the birth of a child a few days
ago. She was born at Upland, a daughter of Charles and Mary Hess Fannon. She had been a
resident of Wells county 14 years. Three brothers, Earl Fannon; of Fort Wayne; Hershel
Fannon, of Liberty Center, and Roy Fannon, of Anderson, and one sister, Mrs. Herman Ray,
of Anderson. Children surviving are Dorothy, Maxine, Leota, Bonnie Lou and Betty Jane, all
at home. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday at the Liberty Center
Methodist church in charge of Rev. J. Clawson. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery,
Warren.

Note;
This obit does not list these children: Francis, Mary Frieda, Helen Marie, Marcella, and
Fremont. They were from a previous marriage to Robert Stotlar.
This is not a mistake. Addie married her step-son, Ora Stotlar after divorcing Ora's
father Robert.

Robert M. Stotlar, 89, 204 S. "E" St., died at 1 p.m. Thursday at a Marion
nursing home. A native of Blackford County, he had lived in the Marion area most of his
life. He was a member of the First Pentecostal Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs.
Helen Gallay, and Mrs. Freda Hess, both of Elkhart; two sons, Francis, Chandler; and Roy,
Miami, Fla.; one brother, George, Fort Wayne; and 12 grandchilden. Funeral services will
be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Needham and Son Funeral Home, 814 S. Adams St., with the
Rev. L. William Schmidt officiating, and burial will be in the Marion IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
