Emsweiler (as spelled), 48, born Oct 1851, married 17 years, a bartender in a saloon, born
in Ind, father in Va and mother in Ind. The family included his wife Mary S, 40, born Jan
1860, married 17 years, mother of 4 all still living, same birthplaces as William, - his
daughter Goldie F, 15, Feb 1885, Ind, - his son Roy E, 12, July 1887, Ind, - his son Otto
R, 7, Sept 1892, Ind, and his daughter Ruth E. 6, Dec 1893, Ind. In the 1910 census for
Blackford county, Washington township, Dist 14, page 3A, the family was headed by William
G Emschwiller (as spelled), 58, married 2 times, this time for 26 years, a farmer, born in
Ind and mother and father in WVa. The family included his wife Mary S, 50, married once
for 26 years, mother of 5 of which 4 were still living, same birthplaces as for William, -
!
his son O Ross, 17, farm laborer, Ind, - his daughter Ruth E, 16, Ind, - his daughter
Sylvia G, 9, Ind, and his mother-in-law Louisa J Feazel, 75, widowed, mother of 6 all
still living, born in WVa as were both parents. In the 1930 census for Blackford county,
