MANY DEATHS IN BLACKFORD COUNTY
HARTFORD CITY, Ind., Jan 25 – Death has laid a heavy hand on Blackford county during the
past few hours.
Mrs. C. A. Wright, wife of Dr. Wright, Hartford City dentist, died in the Bluffton
hospital last evening, following an operation. The body was returned here last night.
Wilson Hudson, age 84, a farmer living just north of Roll, died late yesterday of
hardening of arteries of the heart.
John Jellison, age 81, a farmer living north of Montpelier, died of apoplexy.
Mrs. Oscar Speece(?). 24, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Williams, of
Montpelier, of pulmonary tuberculosis.
The funeral for Mrs. John Moore, former Montpelier woman, who died at Clifford, Kansas,
was held at Montpelier today.
The funeral of Mrs. A. J. McConie (McConiv? Very illegible), age 40, living northeast of
here, who died at Marion, will be held here tomorrow.
The funeral of Frank Fisher, 67, of this city, was held here today.

Mrs. C. A. Wright, wife of a Hartford City dentist, died last evening at the county
hospital here, several hours after she underwent an abdominal operation. Death was due to
embolism. The body was taken to Hartford City for burial.
