Message Board Post:
I am trying to find out if there are divorce records for Blackford County in the
1850's. I am looking for a divorce record for Robert Duffy/Duffey/Duffee and
his wife Ruth Lowry. I know they were married in 1850. Robert remarried Ann
(Mustard) Teach in 1859. His wife Ruth, was not listed on any 1860 census,
however she re-appeared on the 1870 census living with their (her's and Roberts)
son John Duffy, and very close to her son-in-law WIlliam J Teach and Elizabeth
(her daughter).
Thanks
Mike
