Haffner—Walker.
Miss Selia Walker and Mr. Edward L. Haffner were married at 7'o'clock a.
m., June 23, in St. Peter's church by Rev. C. H. Thiele. The bride was
attended by Miss Laura Haffner and the bridegroom by Mr. .Edward Walker, of
Lexington, Ky. The bride wore a stylish costume of white linen, a princess
gown and a sleeveless coat, which were handsomely trimmed with lace and
applique and a beautiful hat of lace trimmed with chiffon and white plumes.
The bride carried a rosary set with moonstones and a bouquet of bride
roses. The bridesmaid wore a white silk gown and white hat with plumes for
adornment. The bridesmaid's bouquet was made of pink roses. Only relatives
attended tlie wedding ceremony and the breakfast, which was served at the
home of the bride's sister, Mrs. W. J. Stockbeck, 2217 Lafayette street.
Ferns, smilax and white carnations decorated the bride's table. After a
wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Haffner will go to housekeeping at 132 East
Woodland avenue, where their home is all ready for them. Both bride and
groom are well and favorably known and have many friends who are interested
in their marriage. The bride has had a number of pre-nuptial parties given
for her. Mr. Haffner is in the engineering department of the Fort Wayne
Electric works. J. A. Walker, of St. Louis. Mo., a brother of the bride,
was one of the guests.
