Stan, Is there any way of eliminating personal traffic to/from Richard? I
appreciate what he's trying to do (and have blocked his email) but responses
to him need to go to only him, not become spam.
Thanks

Stan and Margaret, and list :-)
First, thanks to Stan for what you did. Appreciate it very much! Yes. I have some
missing months that I need to retrieve at some point. I was in Ft. Wayne Tues. trying to
fix that. I'm actually glad Margaret had your original message attached to hers
because I missed it the first time around or I never recieved a copy-----yet. I'll
check out what you set up later. :-)
To Margaret. I'm not the admin of this list but I am one on many others so I
can't speak for the INALLEN List Administrator. He or she will have the final say on
your suggestion. However, you really shouldn't be blocking my or anyone else's
e-mail address on the list. A blocked address bounces to the admin as an Uncaught Bounce
Notification. Or at least it used to. Rootsweb made some adjustments recently so this
could have changed.
What I would advise the admin to do is maybe change the General Options setting from To
This List to The Poster Only. That way all responses to me would only go to me and not
the entire list. The down side of this would be it would cut down on list traffic.
Again, the admin should be the one to determine what's on topic and what is not. My
sole purpose is to make available my huge database of obituaries for Allen Co., IN.
For all future queries to my listings, please send your requests to my personal e-mail
address. Or if you'd like to know more about the Project or the other States I cover,
please use my personal address as well.

Please indicate in the Subject line that its Allen Co., IN so I know where to look.
Sometimes I have to guess since I do send listings to other counties like INSTJOSE which I
admin. And INADAMS. Where I'm the assistant admin.
Anything I send out to individuals goes to the individual and not the list although I do
slip up from time to time. :-) The only thing I send to the list is the Newpaper Tidbits
Project notes.
Hope this helps! :-)
