John,

I, too, hope you find a home for the Bible, and that a relative would be willing to pay
the costs to get it. I know I'd jump at the chance if it were my surame.
I was able to find my Kent and Hillman families in New Brunswick, Canada after they
arrived there from Scotland and England when I found a little Bible tucked away in my
grandmother's belongings that had an inscription with their names on it! Thank
goodness we are packrats in our family and don't throw away anything having to do with
our families!
I live in Littleton, Colorado, a little bit south of Denver. We had a snowstorm on May
1st as my 1st great grandson was being born and today it is sunny and will get up into the
70's. All the trees are in bloom and it is gorgeous! That's why we love
Colorado.
Would like to someday research in your direction for my ancestors.
Jane

Many thanks Jane I will re-post it with the correction.
I just felt that the Bible should be in family hands. Of course there may
well be nobody left; certainly not in Indiana. I dont know how I should
broadcast it nationally. perhaps there is a Trautman rootsweb site!
Beautiful day, 1700 and just gearing up a BBQ
Kind regards
John

Hello John,
I have no information on the Troutman family. I just wanted to let you
know that the address for her should be Fort Wayne, IN, not IA as that is
the abbreviation for the state of Iowa. I know some of our state
abbreviations are confusing--even to us, but using IN may help you find
her easier if you are looking online.
Hope you are still having sunny weather.

Hello the list,
First time from a sunny but windy Spring day on the River Great Ouse in
Cambridgeshire UK.
I am trying to find any living relative of EMMA TROUTMAN who as a girl in
1884, lived at 120 East Wayne Street. Fort Wain. IA.
I believe she was born in OH in 1868. Mother MARY and Father JOHN, who
came from BADEN and PRUSSIA respectively. Father was a policeman so
probably moved around.
!
My reason for this search id that I have a Bible given to EMMA as a girl,
and I would like to return it to a member of her family. I will pay the
costs of course.
I would be obliged if there is someone out there who can help.
John Richardson
