Don't personally have information on any of these families, but I might have
some suggestions on more common spellings in present-day use around here.

In searching for family members from Allen County, IN, I have been
able to
get the following information. Was hoping to find out more on my JOHNSONs.
Please write if you are one of the family. Thank you.
PEARL JOHNSON married MART WYKLE (spelling?)
You are more likely to find the name WEIKEL or WEIKLE these days, though the
spelling you give might certainly have been the original.
& had 5-6 children. Their
children's names include NORMA WYKLE, born c. 1916, FRANKIE WYKLE, born c.
1917, & HAROLD WYKLE; other names are unknown.
EARL JOHNSON married ETHEL (WARNOCK?)
Plenty of Warnock people around last time I checked. I once knew a Robert
Warnock, but don't know if he's still around here or not. You might check an
on-line phone listing. His address might be New Haven rather than Fort Wayne.
& had 6-7 children. Their children's
names include, MARABELLE JOHNSON, born c. 1916, married Mr. BLACK (?) (Mr.
BLACKMAN?) (Mr. BLACKMON?),
Again, either is possible.
BUD JOHNSON, born c. 1917, MARIE JOHNSON, born
c. 1919, ROBERT (BOBBY) JOHNSON, born c. 1923. There were at least 2
children born later, one born c. 1929, the other born c. 1931; their names
are unknown.
