Hi, I'm glad to see that there is some good exchange on this new
list. Let's keep it going.

Hi Dawnette,
My father's grandparents, Rebecca WARNER and Lewis KRUGLER, were from Allen
County, Indiana, and the name Hollopeter on your list rang a bell. A Wm.
C. Hollopeter was my great-grandmother Rebecca's guardian after the death
of her grandfather Joseph Warner in 1872. Rebecca's father had died during
the Civil War. I have a copy of the guardianship papers which include a
"Guardian's Current Report" which, I believe, is in Wiliam's
handwriting.
If this William fits in your line and you would like a copy, let me know.
While in Allen County researching last spring, my friend and I drove on the
part of Hollopeter Road that is in Perry Township. Some of the Warner's
lived on that road; I believe some still do. They all lived in the Dutch
Ridge area. Many are buried in the Huntertown Cemetery and the Dutch Ridge
Cemetery, but I've been unable to find the graves of Rebecca's mother,
grandmother Lovina Chase, or her brothers John and George & their families.
Having this site is a great idea! I am interested in the following names in
Allen County: WARNER, KRUGLER, and MARTIN.
